Story

The Dragonborn follows in the footsteps of the Elder Scrolls book, The Doors of Oblivion, to find the lost scholar Morian Zenas. Zenas has been trapped in Hermaeus Mora's realm of Apocrypha for far too long, so his apprentice, Seif-ij Hidja, recruits the Dragonborn to find his master. Little does he know, Hermaeus Mora expected the Dragonborn for quite some time.

Following the trail of Zenas, the dragonborn enters Oblivion, traveling through corners of Ashpit, Coldharbour, Moonshadow, and Quagmire in order to finally reach the domain of Hermaeus Mora. Within Apocrypha itself, the player ventures through warped libraries until the Endless Void is revealed.

Negotiation with Hermaeus Mora results in a following temptation; in exchange for the crazed mage, the player must perform more tasks for the Daedric Prince. These tasks involve Stalhrim, and forging weapons of ancient craft. The player must seek out the materials for these weapons in heroic tombs of ancient Nordic heroes -- those taken to Sovngarde for their glorious deeds. Something is not right with the Daedric Prince's request, however...
